Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation:

Cream butter and sugar together. Add vanilla and egg; beat until light and fluffy. Stir in sesame seeds, flour, baking powder, and salt. Drop by half teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets, allowing enough room for spreading. Bake at 375° for about 10 minutes. Remove from pans immediately.
