Ingredients:
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped red and green bell pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 large can pork and beans (28 to 32 ounces)
- 1/2 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
Preparation:
Brown ground beef, onion, and bell pepper in a large skillet; pour off excess fat. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour mixture into a 1 1/2 quart casserole; bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Serves 6.
