  • Filling:
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup raisins

Preparation:

Combine crust ingredients in a mixing bowl; beat on low speed for about a minute, or until mixture is crumbly. Press mixture evenly into a 9-inch square baking pan or 11x7-inch baking dish. Bake in the center of a 350° oven for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until very lightly browned around edges.

Prepare filling in a mixing bowl. Combine 3/4 cup sugar, milk, sour cream, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla. Beat on low speed of electric mixer until well blended; stir in raisins.

Pour filling over crust then bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, until filling has set. A knife inserted into center of filling should come out clean. Cool and cut into bars or squares.
Makes about 2 dozen small bars.
